When choosing a pet sitter for our furry family, the most important qualities to me are honesty and a genuine love of animals. We have one rescued Lab/mix, Keylee, which is quite shy and fearful of strangers. She has a ‘sense’ of who she can or cannot trust. I knew from the moment that she started to lick Amber’s face at our first introduction meeting that everything would work out well - - and it has! I feel both blessed and fortunate to have such a compassionate person care for our pets when we are away. "Peace of mind is truly priceless."

I am a 'full-time' traveling professional and have three dogs, 2 German Shepards and Boxer. Amber has been fantastic taking care of Boomer, Bailey and Toby. I am delighted to have the opportunity to tell you about Amber, my pet sitter and locally accessible version of Cesar Millan. Amber not only loves animals but understands them. After interviewing a number of pet sitting services and sitters, it was a simple decision to choose Amber and Pet Sitting 4 Paws. After moving to the area and getting a job that didn’t allow trips home on my lunch hour, I needed someone to at a minimum, let my 4 month old puppy out for a mid-day potty break. What I got in Amber is someone who reinforces what the dog has learned, like walking on the left side, not pulling on the leash (well, not much – and he’s getting better, thanks in part at least to Amber) and so on. Amber always leaves detailed messages about behavior and activity, and she offers suggestions, like creative ways to keep rambunctious puppies off the couch. And she always has my boy’s welfare in mind, like when she noted a possibly hazardous electrical cord in the play area. Hi Amber, I would just like to say that every time we have used your services you have been professional and very accommodating towards our two dogs. We now are very confident that our dogs will be well taken care of when we go away on trips. Prior to using your services we were forced to bring them to the vet and they had to be crated. Amber has been sitting for Duke for over 8 years now! Duke was only 4 months old at the time and with her help he became potty trained, learned basic commands and is very obedient! I have had dogs all my life. I have had a dog sitter, kennels, etc. but Amber is the cream of the crop! She loves my dogs, she is responsible, friendly and always available. She calls me when I come home just to ensure I made it home ok and the dogs are taken care of.. My business takes me away at least once a month, now I can leave home stress free because Amber takes care of my doggies as I would.. She is great! Thanks Amber!
